Chiropractic management / Marketing quick tip
Often in traditional chiropractic we use the metaphor of a hose being stepped in order explain to patients if a nerve is pinched upon it can not flow right. However in todays chiropractic community chiropractors often think of this explanation as in-accurate or old fashioned. The truth be told this is a simple way to explain to a patient the basic fundamentals of chiropractic. You see the devil is in the details. Just as if when you go to the orthopedic, he does not sit you down and go into ever single fine detail nor does he give you the complex medical explanation of your condition. The reason for this is 95% of the time the patient will have no idea what the doctor is talking about. You as a chiropractor have to remember the KISS methodology when explaining chiropractic to your patients.
Keep it simple (for the) student. As a chiropractic educational facility and a chiropractic office you must align the principles you believe to be true in chiropractic with a simple method of explanation. This is the best marketing you could ever do for your practice. Take the time and develop a simple ten (or less) step explanation of chiropractic.
Chiropractic explanations to the patients need to be simple remember foot on hose, electric to wood, dam to river, stuff like that.
