Often in our practices we become lazy. What I mean by this is not in a physical form but a mental form. We start to let things slide that we would not before. When patients used to come in they all got information about chiropractic and now they just get adjusted. The fundamentals of a great chiropractic practice is the basics. We must educate the patients we have and we must constantly be promoting chiropractic.
Here is some simple yet effective techniques to use during chiropractic marketing for new/old patients:
1)Expose your self to one new group a week. It does not have to be in a business manor. Actually the best patients you will often get are the one who you meet in a nonchalant social setting. Later when those people get injured they know who they trust and should go to.
2) Some people are natural chiropractic marketers, some are not. You have to options is you are in the "not" section. You can either practice giving a 30 seconds informational blurb or you can not do it at all. If you choose not to do a informational blurb it is crucial that you meet double the number of people that the "blurb" people meet. The reason is you must befriend as many people as you can in order to have them helping you spread the word. I have seen both on many instances.
3) Any Chiropractic Coaching firm would say, be creative! Every active chiropractor on the planet is practicing what, thats right chiropractic. What you need to do is delineate your chiropractic practice from everyone else. Whether you like to adjust children, adults, athletes, or just families let the world know!
