Practice management screenings

Chiropactic Practice Management Tip

One of the most important things you can do for your practice is to get out in the public. Many people look down upon screenings and say oh I am to good for that. That is nonsense. the purpose of doing a screening is not always about you gettting new patients. We need to be bigger than that. The  true purpose a chiropractor should be doing screenings is to spread the word on how benifical chiropractic is to patients.

Remember there are hundreds of thousands of patients out there in need of care. All we have to do is make ourselves available to the masse's and they will come to us. Every single time with out exception I go out to a event with lots of people I have a line waiting for a spinal check up. If you build it they will come.

The only thing it takes to build a successful chiropractic practice is a effort in the right areas. Her are some crucial screening tips to keep in mind.

1) When you are out in the public you are representing chiropractic not just your office. Be organized at the screening have clip boards, paper work, flat screen the nines out. Also most importantly have you schedule and plan to book 20 new patients and see them in the next two days after the screening.
2) Make sure you go with a onslaught of people. Groups naturally attract people.
3) There are hundreds if not thousands of people at a large screening. Do not spend more than 3 minutes with one individual otherwise you are missing new patients. With in the first 40seconds of a converstion I have decided if I like someone. How long do you think those screening patients need to make a desicion if they want to move on to a new patient exam.
4) have at least three people a intake person, you, and a scheduler for all the new patients you are going to get.
5) take each patient in three phases: A) tell them we have limited time so today is to figure out if we can help you and then once we determined that we will make a new patient exam to take a deeper look. give them a educational minute, let them know who you are and what chiropractic is to you. C) Lastly if you believe you can after a brief exam tell them with confidence and say ok now I am going to pass you of to my assistant and she is going to scgedule you for a exam at our special price a 200 dollars exam at 20 dollars. Have a nice day Mr or Mrs. ________.
